new recruit: ethan cann
Penybont are delighted to announce the signing of 23-year-old centre forward, Ethan Cann from Llanelli Town.
Ethan began his career at Taff’s Well before earning a move to Llanelli in the Cymru South. There, he scored 20 times in his debut season, earning him the Supporters’ Player of the Season award. The striker carried his flaming form into Llanelli’s promotion-winning campaign last season, where he found the net 15 times. He’s featured 20 times for Llanelli so far this season, netting twice in his debut Cymru Premier campaign.
Ethan’s fine form in the Cymru South also earned him a call-up to Mark Jones’ Cymru C squad in 2024, another notable achievement in his career to date.
Ethan is a right footed centre forward with a natural goalscoring talent and some valuable Cymru Premier experience. He has featured twice against Bont already this season and will look to occupy a vacancy in the Penybont front line, following the departure of James Crole to EFL side Newport County.
